I thought it would be nice to have a thread that collects al of the known Honda Service News Bulletins.

That way people with issues could read up on them and be more informed when they go to the dealer and not have to settle for the typical Gober Pyle answer of "Gee wiz, never heard of that happening before"...

In order to stay focused on the Service Bulletins, I'm kindly requesting that ONLY Service Bulletins (or their numbers) be posted in this thread, it's perfectly ok to add comments along with the Service Bulletin, but if you want to discuss them, please do it in another thread (or make a new thread - they are FREE!). And don't be too put off when I delete the posts from those trying to discuss the Bulletins.

One or more accessory running board lights are flickering or not working.

[Edit] - There is no correction-of-fault in this TSB, simply replacement of the failed light with the same part, therefore light(s) are subject to continually fail in future. o_O
And since this is a Honda accessory, note 'free' repair (replacement of lights) is limited to Honda's Accessory Warranty: 1 year, 12k miles; however if running boards were installed by dealer as part of initial vehicle purchase, then accessory warranty is 3 year, 36k miles.

Here's a first . . . Honda first issued Service News Bulletin A19070C (Version 1) back in July, 2019 specifically directed towards customers that relied on You Tube video to fix their failing Honda infotainment system.

Certification Label

American Honda issues a stop sale and safety recall for certain 2020 Passport and Pilot vehicles due to improperly manufactured certification labels.

Due to a printing error, the ink on the certification label may rub off when wiping the label with alcohol, gasoline, kerosene, engine oil, window cleaner, car wax, or any other household cleaners. If the label information is wiped away, the operator may not be able to refer to the information, possibly resulting in the vehicle being overloaded, which can increase the risk of a crash.

Audio System Not Working After Completing RECALL - 20-047

If dealership completed the Honda Recall 20-047 (also known as #Y7Y 2019-20 Multi Model Front Control Box), and you are experiencing display audio problems, likely caused by tech not being careful while handling your gauge cluster, causing a short in the circuit board. 🤬

If anyone purchased the running boards with lights they will install new upgraded ones for free. Honda has released a service bulletin for this product. I have only had mine on for 2 months and already 3 out of 4 lights are out. I really like going back to Honda and waiting for 2 hours for light bulbs installed.
