Got a 2019 passport recently. Didn't need the Elite, but it was less expensive and fewer miles than the Tourings I could find locally. Only dislikes are the autostop (annoying to me) the lack of center console (annoying to the dog) and the 20" rims.

I daily drive 20+ miles of rough pavement at 85mph (rural Texas). I couldn't hear the stereo in my last SUV. I want more sidewall, I'd also like to keep to OEM if possible. I see that it's popular to swap tires between the Ridgeline and Passport, but it's a lot of hassle to buy/sell wheels and I'd like to see it if possible before pulling the trigger.

Anyone have pics of their white passport with Ridgeline tires? I'm not tied to the black color, but having trouble finding pics of them on a white PP.

Welcome and congrats...!

I have a 2019 Touring and love it...

Sounds like you need some 18" wheels with AT tires...

Have a look in the Tires & Wheels forum (here) lots of pic's...

Idlestopper. Easy install and takes the pushing button after start out of equation
I saw this, and is definitely a potential solution. I've been seeing if I can just train myself to not fully depress the brake first.

On the center console, I'm going to see if a friend will make a leather pad I can drop into the recess top of the rollaway top. Could possibly make that a kind of wallet thing. The dog stumbles whenever he comes up to the front seat, eventually is going to scratch everything up. Got a buckle extender so the car doesn't demand the seatbelt for him. Looks a bit weird (buckle doesn't tip down like a lot of cars, so it's fairly tall) but works fine and is legal.

Thank you for the pictures. All black or dark gray keeps the nice aggressive look, but the gray/sliver looks sharp too. Truck-ish.

Any thoughts on HPD wheels? Not OEM, but OEM adjacent. Opens up the range of options.

I'm not well versed in tire swapping... I can choose anything OEM for pilot, passport, Ridgeline, or CR-V, correct? Or am I missing something, like wheel width?

Thanks, y'all.

CR-V wheel specs are different and cannot be used. Yes for current generation of Pilot, Ridgeline and Passport for 18" wheels. 2021+ Ridgeline are +45mm offset vs +55mm offset. With 18" honda wheels, the width is typically "8J". These other wheel specs are important to fit on the wheel hub properly...
  • Center Bore: 64.1 mm (unless a centering ring is required for most aftermarket)
  • PCD: 5x120 (bolt pattern for wheel lugs)

Okay, sorry to continue being a total newbie... but I can't help it, lol.

I don't want to go through the hassle of ordering the wrong thing. Is this a compatible oem rim, or am I missing something?

No note on a j-style bead, but that seems like it would be for tire compatibility anyway. Also assuming that I'd have to find the center plug somewhere.

@PonderTinker... Yes, that 18" OEM wheel should be compatible. If you wish to stay with the same diameter tire, 245/60R18 is the equivalent. TireRack does not list the correct 18" tire size for the Passport. You can purchase center caps online.
