Hello forum land! We just sold my wife's 03 CRV, and are replacing it with a 22 PP Trailsport. We went to our local dealer, who had a few in stock with add-ons we really didn't want, so we checked to see what was in route. They had a gray one due in a week, so we chose that one. Paying MSRP, no hassles. If everything goes well tomorrow, I'll even name the dealer! This will be our main family cruiser, but I'll get to drive it occasionally. I also have an 07 Ridgeline, that does all the things I need it to do, except pass emissions. I'm not looking forward to replacing those cats! I also have an 08 Subaru Forester XT, which will be my son's car if he ever decides he wants to learn how to drive.

This was actually all kind of an accident. We ordered a Ford Maverick in November. We've been told we probably won't get a 2022. We're giving up. It's a neat little truck, but not worth an 18 month wait. So, instead of a $30k Ford, we're getting a $45k Honda. Go figure?

Well, I got a text from my dealer this morning. They may have exaggerated the disposition of my truck. It isn't at the dealership. It's at the rail yard, waiting on a truck to load it up and bring it to them. The really frustrating part is that the rail yard is 4 miles from the dealership. So close... Maybe next week.

We went and looked at a silver one that just hit the lot at another dealer, and just couldn't fall in love with it. We don't want another silver midsize SUV. The problem with that is now my wife is no longer sure she wants a PP at all. So, I guess we may be looking at an Acura today? Mostly because it's purple? I'm gonna spend $50k on a car because it's purple! Please.... Help me.

I had someone drive up from Tennessee to buy a purple HRV from me in Wisconsin. I love that color and I think it looks great on Hondas and Acuras 💜

That is definitely a female car color though!

And.... We ended up ordering a blue Acura RDX. So, I guess this is the end for me here. I'm actually kind of sad. I liked the PP better, but it's my wife's daily. She liked the RDX better. As a compromise, I bought a 57 Chevy for myself! Now I just have to put it back together.
