I'd like to see the bumper panel that is replaced when an OEM hitch is installed on a 2022 Elite. If anyone can post a photo I would appreciate it. I'm considering getting an OEM hitch for my soon to arrive 2022. Thanks.

It was quite the undertaking - about 5 months in the making. Due to the Nationwide bike and accessories shortage, it took me that long to find a bike rack. And for a bonus, I got rid of one more shiny piece of plastic...the valance over the hitch. Thanks to all those here who helped me along...

Since there is only one part number listed for 2022 OEM hitch, and since it includes a 'standard' matte black valance panel, it should look just like Trex '22 Elite, eh? Especially accurate pic since your pending '22 is also Radiant Red.

How did you get around the tailgate kick sensor?

I just disconnected mine. It worked 1 out of 10 times I ever tried to use it and it wasn’t a loss.

there’s a kick sensor relocater that works just fine. You just have to aim for the spot for it to work.. not a big deal. Took me almost a year to get the relocation Kit tho because it was on back order.
