Phone will not redial

Okay, I know this is petty, but no matter the voice command, I cannot get my bluetooth connected phone to perform a redial. Scenario: I call my wife saying I will pick her up in ten minutes. Get outside her office, park with the engine running, try to redial to call her office saying I am outside, and there seems to be no redial command. The manual states that there is redial but I have yet to figure it out. Does something need to be turned on with the car? I would ask about the phone but this is the second phone it has happened to and the first connected to other vehicles with redial and no problem.
Suggestions???
