There is not much information with regards to the Passport's suspension. There is a video that compares the Ridgeline vs Pilot. Some of the suspension components on the Ridgeline has been beef'ed up for off-road application. I think some (but not all) of this has been applied to the Passport? If you check the front knuckle on the Passport, it is similar to the knuckle described for the Ridgeline.

Starting at 9:15 in this video, it compares the Ridgeline's suspension components...

Sadly, my guess is that Passport shares the under carriage parts with the Pilot and not the Ridgeline.

On simple way to tell is: review the video at around 12:15 they show the rear shocks and show that the Ridgeline has a METAL cap, while the Pilot has a PLASTIC cap...anyone care to go climb under their Passport to see what we got?????

When I want to compare parts on different models like this, I bring up multiple instances of hondapartsnow.com and compare the like parts. You can quickly eliminate what's the same/different.
A little side story on the Pilot - in the early life of my '06 and had a annoying problem with the rear suspension that, of course, couldn't be duplicated by the dealer. Just so happened another Pilot owner had a friend with an MDX and they put them up on hoists side by side. Found out the Pilot had been cost-reduced and a link on the rear had been eliminated. For about $50 bought the two links w/longer bolts and then everything was fine.
Since then I frequently use the parts catalogs when I want to compare parts.

Strut boot is v-e-r-y difficult to pull down, and then seeing anything up the little space is virtually impossible.
However, my rear strut tag has part number 52620-TGS-A120
5610

From online sites listing parts:
Passport part number: 52611-TGS-A11
Pilot part number is 52611-TG7-A01
Ridgeline part numbers are 52611-T6Z-A03 (new#) & 52611-T6Z-A02 (old#)

Just my way of adding to the speculation ;)

A year ago when visiting my brother shortly after buying my Passport, he noted the it rode a bit stiffer than his Ridgeline. But then again, he was in the passenger seat, not in the driver seat as he always is in his Ridgeline. He recently bought a new Pilot. I'll ask him if he has noticed any difference between it and the Ridgeline.
I've had my Passport for a year now, and over the last month or two it seems I'm its riding a bit rougher than it did when new.
