Passport Pro Tips. Whatchu got?

What lesser known things do you know about your Passport that others might not know?

For example, if you press the unlock button on the key fob twice, and hold it on the 2nd click (click + cliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick), all the windows and moon roof open. Good for evacuating hot summer air while you're walking back to the car after being parked in the sun (this trick works for about 50% of cars made in the last decade).

So what other tips and tricks and other helpful nuggets would you like to share?

If you want to close all windows from the outside of the car (without starting the engine), take your key out of the key fob, put it in the keyhole on the driver side, turn it counter clockwise twice, and hold the key in the CCW position the second time. All windows should close.

The front seat visors can slide out along the rod to block the sun

Using S mode jumps your rpms by about 1000. I use it for passing or when I need to merge with fast traffic. Then go back to D to save gas.

To check the tire pressure on the dash display go to vehicle settings from the steering wheel home button, choose maintenance, then tire pressure. I had to ask four different people at the dealer how to do this. Nobody in Service, Sales, or Parts knew. Finally a salesman asked a lot boy and he knew how do do it.

Rear hatch can be opened manually by holding the hatch button for a few seconds to disable the motor - that can't be stopped mid-cycle.

The button on the key fob or the button on the lower edge of the hatch?

The hatch only. Key FOB doesn’t do it nor does the interior hatch release button.
Emergency fuel funnel next to spare tire, and hidden access lever to open the gas tank from panel in the trunk, in case the fuel door button is not working. Another member posted pictures here

When you are ready to turn the engine off - no need to put it in Park..

Just turn the engine off and it electonically switches to Park!

Thanks for this tip! I tried the Honda nav to locate an address via voice and that was an experience from hell like no other. Then I connected my phone and AA launched, pressed the voice button and got the Honda response again so I ended up pressing the voice search button on AA to trigger it. Would've been nice if I knew this beforehand.

I just say "OK google". AC and music has to be low for it to work.
I also noticed that if the windshield wipers are on, and you put the Passport in reverse, the rear wiper will turn on.

So you're relying on your phone's mic rather than the voice button to pickup the "Ok Google"?
