Owners Manual

In the HondaLink app, I found that I could download the Owner's Manual. Right below that, I found that I could order a free, printed copy. (It's only free within six months of vehicle purchase). I ordered a copy and found a wealth of information that the manual that came with the car didn't have. More than 200 pages more.
It has the diagram for rotating tires. It also shows the location of the emergency fuel door release. The original manual didn't have one word about that. I am finding more and more stuff that I had questions about.

You can also order the navigation manual if you r model has it and you so desire. I have a 128 GB micro SD card in my Samsung phone and also placed a copy of the owners manual on it. Better than trying to keep a 662 page manual in your glove box. What comes supplied with the PP is the owners guild, a Cliff Note version of the manual. (LOL - that is if your old enough to understand the reference to Cliff Notes)!

Cliff notes came in very handy! 😀

I use Dropbox for everything. Comes in handy from any device. I also have a Fujitsu scanner for documents. I have everything associated with all of my cars in separate folders. Very useful if you forgot when you had a particular service done, or need a receipt for a part or accessory. DropBox can sync to all of your devices, and uploads photos from your phone. Great protection in case your computer dies, lose your phone, etc. I also do separate backups. A little off topic, but worth the read.
Hmm my downloaded manual has 661 pages; unlike the printed version that came with the car. I like to be able to use search terms with it...

I use the downloaded version. Like you said, much easier to search.
Darn, I’m past the 6 month time period. Any idea how to get the more extensive manual?

Thanks

Do you have to possess a physical booklet, or will a more portable, easier-to-search electronic version work for you?

FREE printed version is limited to first 6 months of vehicle purchase, but there is no time limit to access and download a FREE PDF version of Owners Manual at this same site

Save the PDF on your phone, tablet, computer, or 'in the cloud' for easy access. (y)
FYI - The printed Owners Manual has 600+ pages but also small pages AND tiny print. You need a magnifying glass (or your smartphone w/camera zoom) to read much of it.

Readability of the hardcopy Manual depends on your near vision. I am 71 and can read the book easily without glasses.
From some of the questions and comments on this forum, I'm surprised that a lot of PP owners even know there is an owners manual or owners guide. 😂

Congrats on your excellent vision! Just rechecked, good lighting is key. For comparison, one of my hiking books has small print but is easily readable when held at arms length. The Honda OM main text is mostly readable; however, the footnotes are tiny print.

Those footnotes are in a really small font! Good thing I am nearsighted! Don't need glasses to read but need them for just about everything else!
