Got a ScanGauge II for Xmas. Anyone able to have ScanGauge II display oil temp? If so, could you please post the codes? I have it showing ATF and coolant temp.

I too just got a ScanGauge II and was looking for either oil pressure or temperature but, from what research I've done it doesn't look like Honda has made that available thru the OBD2 port. Someone with better understanding like PANDA or CAJack42 would be better qualified to advise. LOL, just read in another post you asked PANDA about oil.
Per my BlueDriver, oil pressure (Mode6) "function is not supported by this vehicle."

Undaunted, I experimented by finessing some ScanGaugeII X-codes applicable to oil readings for non-Honda vehicles, but my attempts to adapt for Honda display readings were either blank or inaccurate.

For now, assume my BlueDriver live-data was correct in stating oil temperature is unavailable for live-data stream for Passport through OBDII port.

Hopefully CAJack42 has a better 🔬 than I.

Hi, I contacted ScanGauge and they told me that the PP does not support oil temp or pressure.
Please let me know if you are able to Discover otherwise.
Thanks!

I've never known of any of the J series engines to provide an oil temp sensor or pressure port for a gauge.

To clarify, the test of oil pressure on past engines (in case the low pressure indicator stays on) requires the removal of the pressure sensor and temp install of a gauge. I know someone years ago was looking into a T plumbing setup to accommodate both a sensor and a gauge. I think he gave up, just too complicated for the space. And of course, the desirable output to OBD is not there.

Good to know @CAJack42 about the oil pressure. I was contemplating an oil filter relocation but only if I could data log the oil pressure. I only wished we had something like ross-tech for our PP.
