15K mile oil change on my 20 Passport yesterday. The Oil Life display showed 15% when I dropped it off. After the maintenance and pickup, the Oil Life Display showed 100% and an Orange B below the word LIFE. I've researched the much more detailed Passport User Manual available on line but there is nothing on the "B". Anybody know what this means? I'm going to call my dealer in a bit so maybe they might know.

You will get the B with some number codes for your next visit.
I'm completely familiar with the MM codes found in the provided car manual and the extended web manual. I've just never seen the orange "B" before after an Oil and Filter change on the "Oil Life Display" after previous LOF service. My dealer changes both with each oil change. I think you're saying that the "B" is just a notice that the next service will be a "B" level service (plus the appropriate numbers).

Thanks, I'm aware of that, but the above codes are just for the MM. The displayed B is on the dash Oil Life display under Maintenance.

The code always displays for the upcoming service even when the percentage is 100%.

Do you have a link for the "Much more detailed owners manual"?

I’m talking about where this detail manual is that is more detailed than the manual which comes with the car and is also provided in PDF. I know what all the codes mean.
thanks. But, after reading through this one and the paper version in the car, they seem to be exactly the same 🤷
