Obsessed With Obsidian

After waiting two and half months my 2022 Passport Elite finally arrived. My original color choice was black but in the end I just couldn't pull myself away from my love of the Obsidian Blue Pearl color to give it up. Heck I've owned a 2013 Pilot EXL in that color & still own a 2015 Accord EXL in the color. It's my destiny.

Anyway, loving the car but still have so much to learn about it with all the changes in infotainment since 2013. It's a pretty steep learning curve from a 2013 Pilot EXL to a 2022 Passport Elite.

I'll add running boards and the rear cargo protectors to fight against Golden Retriever dog hair accumulation.

She will be making her first long trek to Boulder, CO from Ohio to visit my son at the end of this month and I'm really excited about it.

Third Golden so I have no excuses for not knowing what I was getting into. We just installed a barrier in the vehicle to keep her in the trunk. In my Pilot she would put half her body over the back seat and try and hang out the window. I didn't think that was a responsible thing to keep doing with her. She's a gentle beast so the barrier should keep her nicely contained. I did purchase the setback covers and the cargo protectors for the back to try and mitigate dog hair sticking to every surface. They are worth every bit of hair you have to deal with in their life.

Just added the following accessories, The running boards, the hitch and even though I love the first two my favorite might be the side panel protectors to keep me from becoming completely overwhelmed by vacuuming dog fur in the back. I thought they would be made of hard plastic but they are a softer material which will give the all important Golden Retriever a softer trunk experience.
