Last night I discovered that the large bin (under the armrests) is lighted. So are the two cup-holders.
I've often forgone the top of the line models - where these amenities are often not installed (focusing on cheap daily drivers while placing my bride in the higher trim levels).

Somewhat off the subject but (it's my subject to change) when did car ashtrays disappear?

As I remember my 66 Buick Electra Convertible had 5 ashtrays, each with a fancy cigarette lighter.
It was also a favorite meal for the iron eating bugs.

Note: I quit the habit (cold turkey) in 1971. Saved me 5 cents/pack (overseas PX pricing).

What is missing is a map light that could stay on all the time, like the foot well lights. It could be directed at the shifter buttons.

This (to me) raises several questions:
do the overhead map lights not stay on, or do you wish for an additional light, something much lower?
why do you want your feet to be lighted?

Personally I've always preferred the night-time cabin to be DARK, so I can better see the outside environment without distraction.

Foot lighting is very, very dim; dimmer than a night light.
My MDX has it and it's never bothered me. I ordered the foot lighting for my PP 08e10-tg7-100 and I will install it. I've already swapped the interior lights to LED (except the glove box).
I received an under hood light set and a remote positive battery terminal, but haven't gotten around to installing them.

Agree. Our 08 Ody had an amber light shining from the top on the center console. Was just enough without distracting. I miss it in the PP.

There is also very dim lighting in the door storage bins, plus if you look at the map light console overhead you will notice a little light that casts light on the console area below.

As are the interior door handles all around - very dim but a nice feature ;).
Earlier this evening I took a look-see, I don't believe my door handles have lights. I did see the tiny door cubby lights (below the window switch banks).
I didn't notice if I had (or didn't have) a top mounted type light shining onto my center console. If it does then it's very subtle.

I was in the running car (after dark) trying to update my nav software. Original Version 2018-10 is now 2020-10. During the install it failed 4 times - requiring me to restart it each time.

I went out and searched and found the tiniest led over the console.
There is a very small vertical slit, which covers an led.
I am going to take the overhead lights/sunglass holder apart and see if I can enlarge the slit, to let more light come thru, like this guy did to his foot well led covers:
brightening the foot well lighting

I watched that video and presume it'd be OK (as it's only in his foot wells). But ...
I'm not convinced it'd be advisable to perform the same procedure up topside - where it could potentially wash out your night vision.
I suppose (if necessary) you can always use gorilla tape to cover it up .

Can you please share a link of where you purchased the kit? I’d like do the same. Thank you
