I have a 21 touring and just ordered the Traxda lift, 18" wheels, and tires. Have a tentative appt for 2/14 for installation but maybe sooner if the lift comes in earlier. The shop I found here in the DFW area is Texas Tires and it's the only shop Trxda recommended in my area when I called them. Pretty excited, now I wait.. Also on the Traxda site if you enter JONDZ20 for a coupon code you get 20% off the lift price.

Below is what I will have put on.
Place doing the work: Custom Wheel Shop | Texas Tires 48 | United States
  • Toyo Open Country AT III 265/65R18
  • VENOM 38 18X8.5 5X120 +35 Gloss Black
  • TRAXDA 2" / 1.5" LIFT KIT

Will post pics and go over how things went after the installation.

I'm guessing you're going with the 2" front & 1.5" rear to keep the vehicle setting level? Been thinking hard about a lift since I bought my PPTS in August. Not sure I want quite as large of a tire as you have chosen. Can't wait to see your pics.

Yes sir that's the lift I got. I have been wanting to do this since I bought mine over 2 years ago. From what I understand they will have to do a little cutting and stuff but it's been done many times with success so I'm not worried. I think I will lose the mud flaps as well. Ok with me. I own the Passport and plan to keep it till it falls apart.

I also keep cars until end of life. I ran a '95 Dodge ram for 190K+ until the frame rusted out bad enough to no pass inspection. I still own my '08 Element with 192K and counting. I HATE payments! LOL The key is to do all the suggested preventative maintenance. Add up the total cost over the life of the vehicle and it will be less than a few year's worth of payments. Doing what you can yourself saves even more and I still like working on my own stuff. It's possible my PPTS just might last me as long as I'll be driving.

excited to hear of the accessories being added to our Passports. have not done too much off roading on my 2020 but i LOVE the AWD.
curious to hear how "tough" the gear box/tranny is on the passport. i always felt in my mind that if its the drivetrain from a small truck it should be robust enough to handle little off-roading : )

i know it does not mind 85-90 on the Texas highways

Given JonDZs Passport adventures which are definitely above average tough on his vehicle, I’m confident the drivetrain is extremely solid and likely the best of all the AWD SUVs I’ve seen. It has overheated a few times with an error light on some extreme hill climbs he’s showed, but has been rare, and I’m not aware of any breaks he’s had with it.
