Checking in ..Last weekend went to test drive Pilot and day later finalized deal on EXL passport AWD, Silver on Black. Coming off 2008 Highlander so jump in techno is substantial but fun to explore, learn and apply. First time in my life I have car with remote engine start and this will come handy this time of year.

At this time I have few complains .... the arm rest is way to "slim" for me as the driver ... maybe I need to loose good amount of weight ? I already see tread of non OEM replacement avail so I am not the only one .. Also, not too crazy about donut spare. Finally, I've always been a Michellin guy so seeing Continental tires (used to be crap .. not sure now) make me little unhappy. Cant wait to spend $900 on Michelin in couple years ..

Already have ordered: cargo and all weather mats ... thinking about OEM hitch in near future...roof rails ..

You will be happy with your new purchase and The tires are not bad at all, I had them on my last Pilot and was pleased with them.

How many miles did you get on the continental ? Last time I had OEM tires, I had to replace in low 20K ..

My daughter now owns that Pilot, it has around 35,000 miles on it with lots Of wear left on them. But she does use snow tires in the winter. So that won’t help you much.

I agree about the continental tires. I had been wearing Michelin all season tires on my 2006 CRV since that first set of OEM tires went to shit. I bought my current Michelin tires mid October and they ride so much better!
