Currently looking for a low to medium mileage Touring or Elite. Any color but Black. Personally, just not a fan of Black on black! My better half says she "needs the GPS as I use it all the time!" so Touring or Elite trim. Doesn't look like after market head units work in a EX-L trim? Coming from a Jeep Wranger Unlimited Sahara so ride is bound to be 100% quieter and smoother? CRV too small and car like, the Pilot is too big so Passport it is. We also have a 2018 Ridgline RTL-E so used to the features/look/feel of a Honda. Looking forward to gleaning as much information about the Passport as possible. Great to be here! So much informaion

Good luck! Just know that the ex-l trim also has factory gps. We use waze which in my opinion is better than the factory gps and it works with all trims 😁!

Welcome aboard, Dutch! I believe you'll find the Passport much more refined & comfortable than your Jeep & sitting in the front seat, you'll never believe you're not driving your Ridgeline! I'm not sure how much you're planning on spending, but the used car & truck prices are still extremely high so you may check new prices also. We bought our new Elite in late '21 and paid $2,200 more for it than a different dealership wanted for a used 2020 Touring model with 14K miles on it. It never hurts to check... Be sure to let us know when you find something & be sure to post up some pics. We love pics!

Welcome!

Not sure if you really want to use the onboard navigation... I find it easier to just use google maps / apple car play.

The reason I went with the Elite is for the cooled seats. Worth every penny.

Hello and welcome. Agree with everyone else, be sure to look at new Passports. I went looking for a "year end clearance" 2022 Elite and wound up with a new 2023 for less than MSRP (sounds crazy but I thought they were still marking new vehicles up by arms and legs). You may even be able to find a dealer demo, with low miles and decent discount. My dealership had one that was driven by the Sales Manager with 10k miles on it and was $8k below MSRP. Buying new may have an advantage in interest rate from HFS versus buying used, so check that out too.

Good luck finding one that suits your needs and wallet as well!

That is correct that there isn't an aftermarket head unit that will fit the EX-L. However, as others have mentioned, the EX-L does have Apple Car Play and Android Auto so as long as you have a newer iPhone or Android, you have GPS that's as good or better than the native Honda navigation in the upper trim levels.
