Using the method shown, the update when fine. But it does take a while! I have a Garmin nuvi 2589LMT and the latest Full Coverage of North America is version 2020.10. On the other hand the Honda version is 2019.11.

I also own a Garmin nuvi 2589LMT and noticed the same difference in map updates. Strange, I wonder why. I'd think since version 2020.10 is available the Passport nav system would update to it.

On my stand-alone portable Garmin navigation unit, the newest map update is 2020.30. For some reason Garmin updates for Honda vehicles are a couple of versions behind.
