Mudflaps anyone ...?

I am considering installing them on my NEW 2020 AWD EX-L White Passport -

I kinda lean towards the Weathertech no drill product -- looks easy enough to do --

Anyone have flaps on their Passport and want to share a picture or two --

Or even just your thoughts on them before I plunk down some $$ on these things

Your comments are appreciated

I have both sets, and in my opinion the WeatherTech mud flaps look best, they have squared corners unlike the Honda which have rounded corners, and the WeatherTech's also come down lower.
The WeatherTech mud flaps don't stick out as far as the Honda's but as long as you stay with the stock wheels they work just fine. If you are putting aftermarket wheels on then you may consider the Honda mud flaps, they stick out about 1/2" further (but come down as low), it's then kinda a trade off.

The dealership I went to actually has all their vehicles come in from the factory with the mud guards factory installed, regardless of what model it is. When I looked at mine it still had the white protective film on all the top surfaces because it literally just came off the delivery truck.
I have been very happy with them so far. As you can see in the picture the front definitely catches a lot of crud that would be slung up the side.

Absolutely worth it. They keep all the crap from the road off the paint!
And I like that someone other than me calls them mudflaps! 🤣

I have the OEM mud flaps. Installed them myself in about 20 minutes. Very easy. You hardly notice them.

Not on the front?
Not on the front?
They are on the front too, otherwise all that dirt would be on the paint. I will post a better photo tomorrow.

No worries. I’ll get a phot from the other angle tomorrow.
OEM for me. Uber easy to install

I put splash guards on the front of my Passport. It came with the underbody spoilers, so the splash guards don't fit on the rear. It was cheaper to order the guards from the parts menu than as a kit, especially since I could only use two of the four. Check out the parts prices versus the kit. The right-front is $22, but the others are about $9 each. Refer to the installation instructions to determine what extra hardware is needed.

I think the Passport looks way better without them, but for me the extra protection is a no-brainer!
Thought this might help. These are honda. Did not install myself.

Installed factory mud flaps myself. Very easy to do. Brought mine from CollegeHills Honda and picked them up while I was driving through the area so I saved on shipping. Of course, those mud flaps are on my previous Passport that I purchased on July 3rd. The dealer installed the ones on my current Passport that is an exchanged one due to "rocks" in the hatch. Read that thread for the entire saga. Bottomline - it is easy to install...and a "must have" accessory in my opinion....

THIS IS what I hope for -- Now I KNOW what mine will look like -

Thank you for the effort to post this picture

They def. look bigger than the Honda ones, but they don't look black, they look sorta gray in the last photo(?) I have the Honda mudflaps and they are the same black as the surrounding areas...

They ARE a tad bit off color -- But the picture shows it more than it really is
As far as size goes I think they are fine - Size matters ?
They were less $$ than the Honda OEM --- fit correctly
Easy to install -- drill-less --- and
Great post. I decided to order the OEM splash guards. I actually found a great deal for them on collegehillshonda.com shipped for $86. That would be the same price for me to drive an hour to the Weathertech store. Since Weathertech isn't the exact shade of black I went with factory.

I bought OEM splash guards at my local dealer, showed a copy of the College Hills website page and got a price match. Installed them with no problem and relatively quickly. I did NOT have to drill any holes. So much for Weathertech touting their "no drill" installation. To me, Weathertechs look too generic. The OEM ones look like they are made for the vehicle, and they are!
