I have OEM roof rails and crossbars and am interested in purchasing an Ironman 4x4 awning. However, it seems to be easiest to mount if you have a basket but I am not interested in that. Any suggestions for how to mount this thing? The awning comes with L brackets but Ironman also has a "quick release bracket" Pictures below.

Nevermind! I found a roof basket for $100 and will be mounting it to that!

I have no idea what brand it is, I got it off OfferUp. It was already in pretty good shape but I sanded down a few rust spots and spray painted with Rustoleum. Looks great, now I go Monday to get my actual roof rails to put everything together!
