Hey y’all. I’ve posted a bunch of info and comments but no pics of my whip.

I broke her in this week with a camping trip to do some astrophotography and landscapes in the Holland lake Montana area. At just over 1000 miles she was loaded with gear and brought home a campfire aroma. Performance and usability for camping were great. Suspension was firm but supple when it needed to be on rutted muddy roads. Thicker tires some day. It got around 25 mpg mountain cruising and cleaned up nicely when I got home. Mods are AEM cold air intake, LED interior lighting upgrade (the dome and map lights...so worth it), a nice wax job and leather treatment from new, and front tint to match the back.

You hit a beautiful area of Western Montana. We feel very fortunate to spend our summers tooling around the lakes and streams.

When you drive this highway, watch for deer and elk. I’ve hit a couple through here.

Took her up the big mountain at the National Bison Range, and got to really try out mud mode. It performed very well on a steep climb and descent on a fairly sloppy dirt road. I could really feel the rear diff hooking up. While I still wish for thicker tires on smaller wheels, the oems on 20s did just fine on washboard and tricky rocks.

Found a set of brand new oem Ridgeline 18in rims and put 255/60/18 Blizzak snow tires on them. Love how it drives and I want another set for summer AT tires.
