I wonder if there's a way to remove the trim cover and wire the connections to the slide switch together so both mirrors tilt down when shifted into reverse. Any electrical gurus here tha can answer that question?
Would be nice if somebody could figure that idea outI wonder if there's a way to remove the trim cover and wire the connections to the slide switch together so both mirrors tilt down when shifted into reverse. Any electrical gurus here tha can answer that question?
It took me almost six months when I had my first Honda with a rear camera (2012 Pilot Turing) to begin to trust what I was seeing on the screen. Within a year when backing up I rarely used the mirrors any longer, unless I was in a strange or new place backing up.Backing my PPort for first time today into my garage, I had to toggle from.left to right mirrors to be sure I was clear.
Went out again later and second attempt not as scary. I use the right side mirror to help me back into my garage.
The left side mirror is closer to me, so very easy to gauge it's clear of center column of my 2 car garage.
PPort just an inch shorter than my HL. But Woah, approx 3" wider.
I never got used to using back up cam in my HL. No better in the PP yet. I've been so used to using my mirrors in my past, large pickup trucks.
It's habitual, still can't trust those dang, car-cams, lol.
