Metallic Rattle under steering wheel

After only 4 days ownership we realized there is a metallic rattle sound in our Passport Elite. Noticed it when the volume was down on the radio. There is a big stainless steel cylinder under the steering wheel column. I bumped it with my palm and it made a similar sound as when driving. Dealership put foam around unit next to cylinder. Rattle stopped.
