Did anybody upgrade to the Machined-Finish Alloy Wheels on the Elite?
What do you think about them? I am considering them for the Obsidian Blue elite.

I think people like the more rugged look of the stock rims over the machined finish rims.Does the lack of responses mean nobody likes them, or they are too expensive?
I can understand that. But there is another thread about " does anybody like the black wheels?" I have only seen pictures of the machined-finish alloy, so it is hard to make a decision. I was hoping somebody with them would chime in. thanks

Guilty as charged...couldn't stand the black rims. Even the wife said it was a nice ride EXCEPT for those black rims. I bought the machine faced rims and haven't looked back...except I still need to sell the black rims stacked up in my garage.I hear you on that, I would rather have had my black wheels finished in a gunmetal or silver.

I really like the look of those wheels, but I bet it's a chore to clean them.
For wheel cleaning, a set of wheel brushes (like Wheel Woolies) help a lot for cleaning in between with all those spokes.I really like the look of those wheels, but I bet it's a chore to clean them.
Love the machined-alloy wheels. The interior spokes match the modern steel Passport color.
I just ordered a set of these wheels from my Honda Dealer. I really dislike the look of the black gloss 20” wheels that came stock on my 2021 Passport Elite. We are in the minority on this one on this forum but I totally, totally agree with you. I too couldn't handle the black wheels on my 2021 Elite. Just my opinion but, they have a cheap look to them. Like someone went at them with a can of black glossy Rustoleum spray paint. I think they call it the "rugged look"🤣 What was Honda thinking? I too like the machined look over the stock black wheels. Currently using the stock wheels on my '21 Elite for winter tires (Michelin Alpin 5). We are currently browsing vendors offerings for the stock tires looking at both offerings we like and cost.
To each their own, but I’ve thought for decades now that Honda needs to fire their wheel design guy/team. I’m sure with the thousands of different wheel designs its tough to come up with something new.

The con to having machined wheels...if the wheel/s are damaged, they are not as easy to repair as a painted wheel.
