Anyone around Denver have any 20in stock tires that they are not using that I could buy or rent for a couple weeks?

I'm planning to upgrade to 18in wheels and tires in the next couple weeks, but I just discovered a screw in my tire that looks too close to the sidewall to be fixed. I'm hoping to avoid paying for a new 20in tire that I would only use for a couple weeks.

I would suggest calling a few Honda or Acura dealers that sell tires. They will be your best chance of finding a Conti tire of the right size.

I would let a tire shop at least inspect it (it's free at most). They may be able to plug or patch (patch less likely) even in a difficult location. A tire shop may also have a more affordable set of options for a used tire or cheap tire that can last a couple weeks. A dealer might have something, but will be by far the most expensive and most would try to sell a set of tires.

Especially if it is only to be used a short time, maybe limit your driving distances and speed so the tire does not overheat.

If they won't take the liability, maybe try some Flat Repair "Goop" to stop or slow any leakage.

Appreciate the response! I had actually dropped it off at a tire shop before work this morning and shared this picture with the guy who checked it in. He said it wasn't likely that a plug would be possible because of its proximity to the sidewall. I have a ~700 mile road trip planned this weekend so I was trying to quickly find alternatives to buying a new tire if the tire shop couldn't fix it. Anyways it must be my lucky day because the shop had a look and told me it was a very shallow screw that didn't actually puncture the tire and was just stuck in the rubber!
