Passport is so new that I’m having a problem finding cross bars for the roof rack other than what Honda offers... nothing for the big boys like Thule or Yakima.

Anyone had any luck?

Try calling Rack Attack - I have the oem cross bars and roof rack but I’m a Thule fan so using some Thule pieces on top has been seemless so far but the PP may be so new the big boys really haven’t come out with products / good luck ?
I was browsing the clearance section at Walmart last night and they had a set of Reese universal cross bars marked down from $80 to $11. I picked it up, but have not tried to fit them on yet. I was under the impression most roof racks were the same, and it was not that specific to the particular vehicle. Guess will see when I try to fit it on this afternoon.
Why wouldn't what fits a Pilot or Ridgeline work on a Passport?

Just a thought.

Could fit, it all depends on the distance between the left-hand and right-hand Rails!

Isn't the Passport an inch wider than the Pilot and I don't believe any Pilots have raised roof rails, do they? For roof cross bars, I think they may be a different fit, unlike most other accessories which are interchangeable between the Passport and Pilot. I could be mistaken on this, though.
Yakima has a system that will work on the Passport, overpriced but that's the norm for them and Thule. I need a Thule setup since I have a Hull-a-vator Kayak carrying system and Thule seems to be dragging its feet...pun not intended. Seems like it should be an easy fix since the Odessey uses very similar roof bars. The Pilot roof bars are flush mounted.
You can add roof rails to the Pilot: https://www.collegehillshonda.com/product/08L02-TG7-100A.html

But it seems the cross bars are different part numbers between the Passport and Pilot.

I ended up buying the Thule Evo Raised Rail feet https://www.thule.com/en-us/us/roof...nd-accessories/thule-evo-raised-rail-_-710401 and once I get our Passport and measure the distance between the raised rails, I will get the Thule WingBar Evo load bars (I am thinking the 53 inch ones should be the right size).
Shadow, keep me posted on your bars!

What’s the Yakima system called?

Wondering if you installed yet- How did they fit?

This is what I got from Yakima Costumer support...

This is the fit we provide for your vehicle specified. http://fitlookup.yakima.com?fitid=24109
We have a few systems for raised siderails, I'm showing you the timberline towers. You can order a complete system here: https://www.yakima.com/timberline-kit-corebar-60

I am off to REI today to check out the raised rail foot... hopefully, it will work! Everything I see says 60" inch crossbars... I have a couple and will try but I am using a Hull-A-Vator and may have to go longer to accommodate that

How was your REI visit? That is actually where I ordered the raised rail feet from (memperks discount was nice). Will be picking up this weekend but another week before we take delivery of the Passport. Did you determine the correct length of wingbar for the Passport?

I tried the EVO meant for the Ridgeline and the Passport and it sort of worked, not well enough that I would risk my kayak and car! I am off to another REI that has the Crossroad foot which uses a steel/rubber strap to hold it on. Am hoping that works! I had a similar setup like this for Acura TSX Wagon and it worked well, although it is harder to put on/take off than the clamp style mount. I have a trip in May and need a rack...also the 20% discount ends Apr 8!!!!
Keep us posted guys... I posted this thread for kayak purposes as well. Looking for options. Can’t even find a hitch yet that’s not a dealership one.
The Crossroad works for the Elite with raised roof bars! Bought a foot pack yesterday... got my 20%at REI... last day April 8 so get your order in... the 405 will work for all Thule bars just make sure you order the right one for your bar. Will st up my system tomorrow and add pics

Just curious (and nervous) about why you didn't feel the Evo would hold securely. I will be adding my Thule SUP Taxi to these cross bars and obviously don't want to see my paddleboards or the Passport get damaged. It looks the clamp on the feet surrounds the roof rails when tightened. Also, what size bars did you go with (53" or 60")?
Hey guys, thought I would ask, any experience with racks and snow shoes? Haven’t had any luck here with my racks and shoes as they are too short.
