I have a 2021 passport sport. It comes with a cloth manual driver seat. Everything is perfect except for the driver's seat. I don't feel enough lumber support and also want a leather seat. Now I really want to upgrade my driver seat to a power leather seat. I talked to a honda dealer, Katzkin, and a local upholstery store. It seems none of them can upgrade the manual to a power seat. Not sure whether there is any advice or options for me. Really love my passport and want to keep this one for a long time, and really hope can have a comfortable driver's seat. Really appreciate any practical suggestions for me!

The seat's floor bolt locations are similar, if you buy a new power seat you can just bolt it into the same location as the manual seat, the seat costs an eye watering amount but the real problem will be if the floor power harness for the seat is missing.
Slide your present seat forward and check from the rear seat if there is a power harness with two connecting clips on the floor under the driver's seat, it is usually hidden under a carpet flap. If there is no harness then your power seat will be impossible to install.

If it were me honestly I'd probably have to just drive it for two years and then see what trade-up options are available. You can probably find a Honda dealership in your area that will allow you to break even on it after two years these days and then be sure to get exactly what you want the next time. I know it's kind of hard when Honda just seems to not take custom orders wants to dangle only what's in their system pipeline, because of inventory shortages they 'can' get away with it for the time being however taking anything which doesn't have all of the options you really want is in my experience just begging for buyers remorse. And I do get it, I mean we all have budgets and what not but IMO if it's an extra 90 bucks per month in payment to get the Elite or whatever you really want then I'd say go for it. For me when I jumped into my Defender I cut my Starbucks habit out and signed up for the Panera Sip Club. There's your $90 bucks per month, Coffee every day, every two hours if you want it for $13, problem solved. :)

If it makes you feel any better all my vehicles, except my 1996 Civic work/commuter car have leather just because that's what comes with the upper trim levels I winde up buying.
I live in the hot desert and prefer cloth, suede, or Alcantara to leather so much so that I replaced my factory leather, power, (drivers only), on my 2014 Hyundai Genesis coupe with much lighter manual aftermarket seats.
What your proposing may be possible if you can find a scrapped Passport with the seats, switches, and wiring harness you will need for the swap. Probably not cost effective even with used parts, definitely not cost effective with new parts. Like another poster said, probably best to get some covers you like and a lumbar pillow and sleep sound thinking of the money you saved until it's time to trade.

Wow, this is a very active forum. Really appreciate all of your suggestions. After reading all of your suggestions. I have been thinking of just keeping my cloth seat and getting a lumbar support. I may want to update my cloth seat to leather later maybe after 2 years. The reason I am doing this is still about cost. I got my passport sport with 31K at end of 2020, and get around 2% annual interest rate for 3 years lease. I want to keep this car till it gets into 100K miles, considering the current car price is at a price peak.
