Just landed a 22 Elite and should be here next week! Would love to hear your favorite part about the passport elites! How is the sound system!? I am looking forward to having the premium sound system and all the bells and whistles to the passport.

what are some fun mods as well? I want to get my windows tinted and get a hitch on as well. Super excited.

I have a 2021 Elite and I have been incredibly happy with it, there is nothing that I would change. I think the sound system is excellent for being a basic factory system. I don't really get into modifications but rather choose to use what I consider to be the best oil in the engine and best tires on the wheels.

So Honda owns Alpine, and I feel it really comes to bat with the top trim level PP.
But what I really love is you load all your tunes ala Honda Music with a thumb drive, and you never have to worry about it again (til you add more tunes). Just pure driving tunes with no commercials, and really great sound. A little base heavy, but it's adjustable; or maybe you want that. All your stereo controls on the wheel; which I constantly have to turn down at the lights (cuz I don't want to be that guy-but I could be if I wanted to-hehehe).

I got my 22 Elite in late January. For the first time ever I have Zero buyers remorse.I tinted the front windows, added the trailer hitch and the low profile hood deflector so far. I’ll be ordering the running boards in the very near future. Good luck and congratulations. LW

I’m so excited to read this. I purchased a 22 Elite in May and it looks like it is arriving this upcoming week. It will replace my 13 Pilot EXL which has been a great car.

Can you give a link to the hood deflector and hitch you for? I’m not sure if I want running boards or not!

Yeah, I replaced a 16 Pilot that my son drives now. Congratulations, I’ll let you know how I feel about the running boards. Oh, I forgot, I also put the MUD guards( not splash guards) on too.

Both were the OEM parts. My daughter works at the dealership so I only pay 10% over cost.

Just wait until you drive it for a bit, the acoustic glass makes it the most quiet vehicle I’ve ever been in. Congratulations.

I am curious as to what you believe the best oil is for your '21 Elite as I have just been alerted that it's time to change the oil on mine?

I love mines. Sound system is great. Comes with a built in subwoofer. I love the self drive, the auto speed changing cruise control settings and of course apple carplay.

HPL Premium Plus 0w20

I have been to their production facility and spoken to their team of chemists, to include seeing the testing of their products against others with rendered test results. The extreme extent to which they text and the results that I have seen in person as well as what has been reported on their product data sheets has thoroughly impressed me. Their products are not cheap but I want the best, not what I can penny pinch the most on.

My 2021 Elite blew 2 OEM tires at the same time driving over some roadside weeds and presumably something low and sharp. I replaced them all with 18 inch wheels and all terrain tires. The tires worked very well until I lifted the car a little with the jsport lift kit which caused the front 2 wheels to rub. I have since replaced the tires with slightly thinner 18" Nitto Grappler tires and the rubbing decreased a lot. Next year, I probably will replace the wheels with KMC 18 inch wheels that have a slightly less wide stance ( less offset) which I hope will eliminate the last of the rubbing. My heavier AT tires and possibly the small lift have decreased my mpg by 1 to 1.5 mpg. I do really like the car. I love the extra features and plan on keeping it a very long time. I will probably go all electric Rivian SUV next provided its cost drops a little - hopefully by then, you can slap a solar panel on the roof to extend its range!

Have a look at the posts (on the site), there was a guy who:
1) Jacked up his front end (block it for safety)
2) Removed both front wheels
3) Removed the inner Cowling/Plastic Liners (where it rubs)
4) Did a minimal amount of pounding (Not sure if he did this - please look)
5) Replaced some large-headed screws/bolt with slimmer-headed screws/bots
6) Replaced Cowlings/liners
7) Replaced wheels

This reduced the height of the area that rubs...

(I would like to do this someday, as I too have rubbing with my 18" AT's
