Just bought a 2019 Touring AWD in Florida

Hi. Just thought I'd post that my wife and I just purchased the AWD Touring in Venice, FL. on Monday- has 300 miles on it :) We got the only MSM AWD in the state according to our dealer who had to get it from Daytona. We got the grey interior which we felt was better with the Fl. sun...personal preference. Wife loves it as she drives about 40 min. up route 41 to work and back daily. Yesterday there was a downpour on the way home. She went through some pretty deep water- not sure how deep. Said the car handled like a dream. We love the Premium sound system too.

My one big concern- the 9 Speed Transmission. No problems yet but I just read the thread about the gentlemen who's transmission crapped out on him after 11,000 miles. Should I spend mental energy worrying about whether this "shoe is going to drop" or is it just one of those random and rare unfortunate circumstances. Another small concern- adjusting the rear view mirror. She finds it very difficult to adjust...

Regardless, we love the Touring features and feel we got a real value for our money.

Congrats! I got the only Blue Touring AWD in FL back in March.

Agree with SG. I'm always aware 'stuff happens' but never stress about it. We make sure we have a plan, JIC.
Congrats!

MSM is the fastest color too!

:p
Welcome banjosteve! Enjoy your new PP.
Lunar Silver
Elite
HELLO STEVE!, Nice call, I also had a heck of a time finding a MSM Touring AWD in So. Cal. Seems Honda is sending the bulk of the AWD Touring models to Mountain-Regions, so if the Flat-Landers want AWD, they gotta go Elite!

Sorry but I have no advice for your wife adjusting the Rear View Mirror, I can tell you I always leave my rear seats down flat (obviously when no one is riding back there) and love the view sans headrests...

I read an article recently that talked about how White is the fastest color due to less resistance to wind.

Kidding, of course. :)
