I'm not sure if is VIN specific, but I just got a letter about the speaker crackling and Honda said if it happened, I could bring in for free to get fixed, they also stated they were extending the warranty as well.
Is this the begining...
Over the past few days when I start the PP in the morning the info screen stays blank. The radio will eventually come on but without any display. I then have to turn it off and on sometimes 3 or 4 times to get the display. Of course when I took it in it was fine. I am not having the crackling speakers or some of the other symptoms of the bad connectors but it sure seems like it might be related. Also, anybody that has had their dash pulled apart to correct the connector issues have you ended up with rattles and squeaks after the fact.
