When I’m driving under 35 and take my foot off the brakes the passport feels like it’s dragging a little bit. I don’t know if this has to do with all wheel drive. It doesn’t happen at higher speeds but this is my first HoNDA and was wondering if this is common. It’s very slight but I can feel it. Is anybody else noticing this?

Is your Economy mode on? 🌿
Mine only drags at slower speeds with it on.

Probably the 9-speed transmission downshifting

It’s nothing major but with my other vehicles I take my foot of the gas and the car glides with the passport it’s a slight drag. I thought it might have to do with the AWD but I guess it could be the tranny shifting down.

Yes it is normal, with twin transaxles instead of a single transaxle the engine will drag a bit more when your foot is off the gas. Add to the equation Honda's VCM system and your vehicle is doing a form of what is known as engine braking.

My 2021 Elite does that as well and I 100% guarantee it is the transmission. I feel like it gets a little confused at lower speeds especially if you're driving with econ mode off. I personally prefer to drive with econ mode on at lower speeds, say under 45 miles per hour, because I feel like the transmission acts a little bit better.

I have a 2020 passport elite. My experience on driving all time, push drive batten twice to get in s mode to bring rpm range little more. This will eliminate the hesitation in slow seeds. I do not use paddle shifter, let it shift auto and I am getting 24+ mills per gl. on regular driving
