Infotainment reset by keyboard

Sigh, as much as it pains me to have to resort to this, I have purchased a compact keyboard to keep in the vehicle to reset the infotainment unit when it inevitably locks up on me during a road trip.

This is an awesome little keyboard, both wired and wireless.

Have you gone to the dealer for the recall that came out this week?
I didn't know you could attach a keyboard. How do you reset it?
I've been pulling fuse but the latest software update is supposed to fix the infotainment lockup issue.

The good old Ctrl-alt-delete keys will instantly reboot the unit. It has to be plugged into the car play USB port up front where you normally connect the phone.

No, it will be a while before I get there, but I have zero confidence in that being the magic cure.
Looking for more info on the control alt delete reset. Just plug in the keyboard and hot that combo or? Thanks in advance.

Yes, when you plug in the keyboard you will see a message on the screen about a keyboard. I usually tap the message, not sure if that is necessary or not though, Then just use the ctrl-alt-delete combination and it will instantly reboot. On the keyboard I linked, there is a switch on the top to switch from Bluetooth to wired you have to flip or it will not work.
