Infotainment/carplay issue maybe

Hi folks, the issue is if you are connected to Carplay with your iPhone (12 pro) with an iPhone OEM cable and are on a call. If I disconnect the call the radio/Sirius comes back on. But if the person I'm talking to does the disconnect (hangs up) first then I hear nothing until I go back to the Home setting and select either radio or Sirius then I get my music back. Is this normal on all? I have a 2020 Passport EXL. The dealer blames the phone. Anyone else seeing this?
