I-VTM and SHAWD are the same. Software may be slightly tweaked depending on the models but its the same system overall. I expect this to change when acura comes out with their TTV6 engine due to the differences in HP/Torque.

Now that the Passport has been released, has anyone come across any articles or videos that discuss the i-VTM4 in the Passport vs the i-VTM4 in the Pilot? Something tells me it's tuned a bit differently than the Pilot, but I don't know.

I'm wondering if they made the Passport's i-VTM4 closer to Acura's SH-AWD -- at least closer to it than the Pilot's i-VTM4 system. Maybe not exactly the same, but closer to it. Know what I mean?

With all the similarities between the Pilot and Passport I would be surprised if its different at all. Its not like there is much of a difference between the MDX and Pilot SH-AWD/I-VTM4 anyway. I believe the RDX has the new system and if so you would see more of a difference between that and the MDX/Pilot.
