How do people react to your Passport?

I've been getting some pretty good reactions so far. My friends seem to like it, though I live in NYC, so there is some concern about the size.

On the road, Pilot drivers all seem really interested. Not sure if they like it or not, but it definitely catches their eye. Had I gotten the Pilot or the CR-V, I would be green with envy if I saw the PP.

I get a lot of compliments from mechanics/valets/construction workers...just people that I bump into while I'm in the car.

What has been your experience?

Same here with the good reactions. The guys at work like the styling. I live in Phoenix and the size isn't much of a concern.

When leaving the dog park last week, I could tell a driver in a Pilot was chasing me down to get a better look. It was quite obvious to me he was checking it out. I just laughed abit.

I would've stopped n let him get a better look, had he asked somehow.
I think most others just think it's a Pilot. S.E. TX Passport here.

I have the Modern Steel Metallic (with the black wheels) and people have said to me that it's very masculine looking. Another said "that definitely a man's vehicle."

My wife said she's glad she has her own car. ?
The reaction I'm getting is that they think its a new version of the Pilot. When I tell them its a Passport, they either just look and walk away, say thanks or say "What's a Passport?".
It's a man magnet. I'm a 64-year old woman with ALS and I can't tell you how many times I've seen men walking around it at the grocery store, even touching it. They wait for me and ask questions.

I highly recommend it to any woman looking for a husband ? One guy asked me if he could sit in it.....he was an off-duty police officer....how could I refuse.

You go girl!! LOL

I've come out of restaurants and have had couples around it looking at it. Everyone who has done so, really liked it, and surprisingly, 1 of the couples were "Honda" people.. they had just bought a CR-V and wished they had waited and went with the Passport. They loved the room in it. They did not know the Passport was out??!
My experience is that people think it's a Pilot. When I say it's a Passport, they just look at me funny and then ask if it's still a Honda.

The first reaction I have received is that it's "Sportier Looking" than my old Pilot. THAT IS ONE OF THE REASONS I TRADED IN THE PILOT!!!! :):):) So at least they see what I saw when I bought it!(y)
I had people say it’s a bad ass looking ride, friends and coworkers called it a soccer mom car, one person said what is it!

I’ve second guessed my current friends list...

Everyone, it would be interesting to see where in the U.S. all the PP owners are, like a map with pins in it. I'd create it if I knew how to do it! :(
I've received no comments from anyone (except my brother who has a 2017 Ridgeline). In my opinion the Passport is not an eye-catching, interesting looking vehicle that attracts attention. Don't get me wrong, I love my Passport. So far the best vehicle I've ever owned.

Cool idea. If we can get the data in a spreadsheet I might be able to find a way. Maybe a heat map would be a good if way to see concentration by region.

Problem would be updating it continuously...I'm going to keep thinking about it
Resin357 I hope you can come up with a way to record PP owners on a map of some type. I think it would generate additional interest in our Honda's and, possibly, stimulate sales if people can see how the large PP family is.
Not a lot of love from friends and family. They walked by it without saying a word. A co-worker said it was “cute”. Only a neighbor with a Pilot approached me to check it out.
I love this thing, I see a lot of potential, but I guess I have to add some mods to make it stand out.

Most people think its cool and ask ‘is that the new pilot?’

But ya pretty much no reactions aside from other honda owners.

Seen a few dads driving pilots looking at it longingly.

Most women I know think its awesome.

My 2019 ridgeline got waaaay more looks. But I traded that for the PP after 6 months.

I dont care what people think and would rather blend in at this point in my life.

Sold my 400hp subaru and motorcycle collection in the lead up to this purchase.

Driv3R Someone earlier offered the reason for lack of attention to our stylish PP's is that they don't stand out or aren't attractive. My take on this lack of stylish respect is that Honda never intended the PP to be a sexy knockout, but a sensible, tough, off-road capable SUV. It's like a piece of art, either you like it or you don't. We PP owners see its beauty while the rest of the auto world is blind. Just my take . . . .

I bought it for performance more than appearance. Its a very nice package in a crowded market. Almost all cars look the same these days. It looks like a honda. I like that it has amazing awd and ridgeline suspension underneath its homogeneity.

Same here. Sub 7 second 0-60 times make it the best price to performance value in this segment. You'd need to get a V8 Grand Cherokee to get something significantly faster.
