Has anyone else noticed HondaLink is not working? Since yesterday when opening app I get the message "An error has occurred. Please try again later" and then a second message: "Something Went Wrong Please pull-to-refresh again to update details".
Now I only use this as a novelty because I refuse to pay for door locking and security features when other manufacturer's offer this for free. I only use it to check tire pressure and oil life. I heard something in the news that Honda had a data breech and wonder if the HondaLink issue is connected?

You are so right Gray__Beard,
Honda Link never worked completely and after 3 months free they expect you to pay for it. I own a Corvette and my Chevy app has been free for over 3 years. It includes starting the car, door locks, etc. I feel the same way, why pay extra for an app that doesn’t work properly.

The OnStar app is so much better than the HondaLink app.

I might have paid for one of Honda's subscriptions if I could remote start my Passport with the app, but since I can't, I let the trial expire.

Totally agree! The app leaves little to be desired. As you pointed out, without the remote restart feature, there’s no point in paying a single dollar for a subscription. Besides, it extremely slow in sending commands. There’s no reason in this day and age why we can’t connect and control vehicles without issue. And at the least, be able to remote start. Come on Honda, get some new app developers, and give us more features worth paying for.

This may be my last Honda with the way that Honda has handled the many Passport issues that owners have had, the lack of admission of these problems, dealerships not recognizing infotainment system issues, design flaws, assembly problems, and the lackluster HindaLink app.

Will our mystery Honda corporate rep please stand up and rattle some cages to right the wrongs bestowed on the Passport?? Unfortunately, I have little hope. Owners will have to fight the good fight on their own.

Makes sense. We just purchased the D82 extended warranty plan (8 yr, 120k, Zero deduct) for our new 2020 PP Elite. We bought it from Curry automotive who had the best online pricking we could find and were told that it would take about a week before we received an email confirmation from Honda due to their servers being down until this Monday or Tuesday.

we shall see

Got email saying they were having issues. Received and email saying issues were fixed and app was back to running. That was this morning 6/17

Same here. Guess they are still recovering from the hacking.
