I find it offensive that 2 1/2 years of ownership and the Honda Link app does nothing. It no longer shows me fuel, oil, or tire pressure. My wife purchased a Volvo two months after I purchased the Passport and her app does everything with no expected end of life. (BTW, her XC60 with rebates was just a couple thousand over the PP Elite I purchased) However, I should say the PP app does one thing. It reminds me daily of a recall that the dealer has already performed and I cannot get it to stop.
Ideas on how to stop it are requested. At this point, I am thinking of deleting the app entirely but then I become concerned that I will not get notified of another recall.

It's completely useless and Honda needs to up their game in regards to the app. It worked for me for about 5 months showing me fuel level and oil life, once I updated it it wouldn't show me the correct level of either so I deleted it. One less app to check on my phone.

Cheers

I considered it but was not willing to pay for it. After reading the reviews on it I decided I didn't even want it for free...

I like Honda Link and have not had any issues with it to date. That being said I do not intend on paying for it after my initial free trial is up. About the only thing I ever liked about it was the remote lock and unlock, however, that only lasted for 3 months.

Anyone with a 2019 Passport here have the "remote" subscription? I keep reading contradicting information that it does not work on the 2019 Pilot or Passport and even though I did pay for the year, I don't see it on the app and I lost the image of the car with the tire pressures as well. I deleted and reinstalled the app, but nothing. I thought I would look for experiences here first before I cancel it or maybe user error.

I never could get Honda Link to work very well on my 2019 when new. In fact, it barely worked at all. I did not any doubts about not renewing it after the free period. It is what we used to call vapor ware! My wife has a 2018 BMW X3 and the BMW Connected App works great. I was anticipating that the Honda App would work as well since Honda is a much larger company. No such luck !

Well Hondalink was finally open this morning to find out what was going on with my app upgrade and turns out that I ended up canceling the service. 2019 Pilot / Passport are not supported for the remote subscription, which is 95% of why I wanted it; the remote start. What a joke, it only offers lock/unlock, horn, lights, and car find. They tried to convince me to keep the service and they wanted to prorate the time I signed up for it, so long as I had not used the functions that were upgraded. I was like, WHAT?!! I have to pay for a time period for an app that is subpar and doesn't function fully with my vehicle, which Honda's website doesn't even flag or have a pop-up to tell you that your VIN will have some functionality missing?

Of course I used it like twice just to see what it would do, so he said I had to pay for that time. I usually can say, ok, I get it, but the app did not have the main function I purchased it for and a became a little heated and demanded my full subscription amount back. After an hour and half with different people, now comes the waiting game to see if I actually get the full credit on my card.

So unless you want to donate $110 to Honda to be able to do the few functions above, overall the app is useless. I guess I'll just have to be happy with seeing my tire pressure, my odometer and my oil life. Damn, what a way to start a Friday!

Adding another comment after I spoke with the technician, the new 2022 Passport is not supported for remote start either in the remote subscription - what's up with that!

Because it's the same car so they didn't bother to add the feature.
Exactly my point. The car is four years newer however it still does not have the feature that most people purchasing a 2022 vehicle would expect. You would think that Honda would have upgraded the vehicle to include it, especially at that price point.
