Well guys I appreciate the welcoming, hope to meet an chat with many I would assume wonderful peeps here, so far I have added my JBL 10 inch powered sub box, I disabled the ANC module, I also have a vcmtuner 2 advance device on the way to plug in to keep it in all time true 6 cylinder, non shutdown mode 😬. I have also, at 300 miles in, pulled off and stored the factory continental tires, and installed a fresh set of 265/50r20 fallen wildpeak trail a/t tires. They fit well no rub, I've been a huge fan and customer of Falken all terrains, race tires and uhp summer tires. I'd recommend them for sure to anyone here, so far they do well and carry a 55k mileage rating. I store manage a shop and also have been a technician for the better part of 12 years.

Traded in my lunar silver baby girl, loved my Civic and owned virtually every gen made, 2018 Civic sport hatch 6 speed turbo. Family calls so this is why I upgraded literally to the SUV version of the Civic. (Color wise and model both sports in silver with black all around)

Congrats on the new ride!
It’s kind of funny how many of us tend to stick with the same color of Honda’s thru the years.

I guess I'm weird. I've had white, green, silver, blue, and white again. :p
Eehh...I’d hardly say weird, maybe you just need to test the flavors!

trust me, IF they had any other colors I would be the first to trade my new 2019 PP lunar sport in a micro-second! A true Brown/bronze or a true Green/Jasper would be nice for a start. Boring colors all the way around these days!

I’d only be slightly tempted for the concrete grey like the new Civic or Toyota. But after all the changes and mods I have done, I’d loose too much $$$...

Well I dropped my PP at the dealer, just under 900 miles, getting my surface science package applied, (free 900 dollar thing) so sure, but also while it's there I'm having them inspect a right front clunk noise. Legit sounds like strut mount. I've been a tech for 12 years , didn't take it apart but did put chassis ears on it and found noise in that corner of the car. When I back up and turn right to back out of drive or spot, a loud audible clunk can be heard and felt. Today leaving work I backed out hard right of my parking spot and got it to "clunk clunk". So I'm having them check that out as well, and install door edge guards. As far as everything at the dealer I will update what happens for further reference, and I have my vcm tuner 2 but will install after dealer is done with car for sure.

Also has anyone, while driving and maintaining speed say between 40-80 mph, have any constant weird feedback feeling through the accelerator pedal, like something traveling through the body of the car and I can feel it in the pedal while driving, with steel toed thick work boots on. Lol I may be crazy. But almost positive I'm not. Let me know your thoughts. 🤷🤙

re: the right clunk noise. I had my clunk for 11 months. Took it to the dealer twice, they couldn’t figure anything out. Took it to my Honda Specialist repair shop for the 7500 mile service in February. They did a bunch of adjustments to that area, never had the clunk again.

What is a Honda Specialist shop? I thought the dealer was supposed to be that?

I had a 2016 Pilot with the same clunk, same time, same place. On the Pilot forums someone found it was a TSB about the way the disc pads are allowed to be loose, to a certain degree and the clunk is normal if the pads are within specs. My Passport has the clunk also........still looking to see if it has a "hidden" Service Bulletin also.???

I think this is past adjustments or break in, I'm truly at the point of knowing it's either the strut assembly, strut mount / bearing plate, or possibly sway bar related. When I checked the brakes, the pad brackets and hardware there is no movement what so ever as far as play with the pads in their brackets. Also as I replicate the sound it will make the same sounds regardless of brakes applied going down hill backwards and turning right or on flat surface no brake applied turning right. That alone rules out brake system I'm almost positive. It also sounds up higher in the front end. I'll see what Honda has to say when the contact me. In the meantime I got a crap 19 accord as a loaner. Thing is best with 4000 miles on it rofl. Anyway if a company made suspension for these, especially adjustable dampening etc, I would have already purchased and tossed the stock stuff on a shelf. J sport makes a lift sure but it's just strut mounted spacers and longer end links. I'd be happy to one day buy a real nice aftermarket developed suspension.

I have been going to Autowave Honda & Acura Specialists in Huntington Beach, since 2001, with my 1996 Civic. The dealer service department sucks! I’ve been to several in various cities since owning Honda’s. They have techs that are barely certified to change the oil and do not have your interest in mind.
