Hey everyone, I live in Oregon and have my 2020 Touring Passport for about 5 months now. I love the car and suits my lifestyle very well. Been driving it under the sun, rain and the snow heavily and it doesn't disappoint. Hope to learn a lot from you guys here. Looking forward to further customization of my car.

🤙

Hello Armiiin and welcome! Nice looking rig, how are the stock tires/wheels holding up under the conditions you have been driving? And do you have any plans to swap out the tires/wheels for some A/T's?

Congratulations!
We’ve got another stormtrooper!

And what part of Oregon? I want to relocate to Newport someday sooner than later.

Hey, I think the wheels are flawless. I thought about switching it but this is also my commute car so don't want to make it super off-roady. I drove few days on ice to commute, still relatively good considering they are not really winter tires.

Love Oregon! I want to buy something between Brookings and Florence for investment. Maybe in a year or two.
Congrats on the vehicle. Seems like it's doing what it's meant to do - give you a fun ride!

I live in Corvallis. I'm about 45 min drive to Newport. Newport is amazing! you'll love it.
Awesome! Hopefully I’ll get up there and see you in the Costco parking lot!

I do love Newport. My plan with what I had for work last year was to buy a house close to the end of 2020, but my industry fell off the earth on 2/13/20, like Big Sur did this past week.

I’ve been looking for any kind of work up there over the last year, including Corvallis, LC, Newport or anything close. There isn’t much, yet alone anyone who responded back, hence why I’m still in HB in my rental.

Btw - have you found a local Honda shop (no dealership)? I always score with one living in HB or LV.
I met with Pat at NW All Pro in Newport when I was up there.

Yeah, another Oregon Passport owner -- I think there's three of us now... just kidding, I think it's really more like five. :)

Always makes me excited to see another Honda Passport :) Small towns of Oregon could be tricky. I moved from Hawaii few months ago. I'd say Salem and Eugene have a better population and possibly more jobs, but both not the best places or closest to the coast. And don't even think about Bend :)) A lot of simpler jobs in Corvallis could be filled by students of the OSU. Keep looking, Oregon is a great state I am sure you'll find something.

I don't know any Honda Shops, to be honest I didn't know any other Honda places exist besides Dealerships. I got my Honda from their only dealership in Corvallis, University Honda

Yup, I can agree. I'm in the Washington, DC suburbs so they're not ultra rare, but clearly not as popular as others. Last weekend I was nearly excited to pass another that was identical to my MSM Passport Elite.

Oregon is beautiful! From Multnomah Falls to down HWY 101 NYE Beach to Yachats, to Silver falls to Crater Lake. I heard you could live there your whole life and still not see all of the scenery.
