Had dealer install it for $425 parts and labor on our Touring AWD. Just in time for winter! Toasty warm...

Yeah, and it heats up really fast too.

I keep forgetting to post this...

Does your steering wheel heater, seat heaters and heater turn on automatically if below a certain temp?

When my ‘Ellie’ was sitting outside at my brothers with 25-30* nights, in the am I’d start the engine and everything turned on automatically?

I have never had this feature, and yet rarely use it, but...ohhh...it’s kind of amazing!

Sorry, but it doesn't get cold enough where I live either to be able to answer that question. It's a good one though.

I thought the wheel heater a nice to have but my cold hands are really loving it and it isn't even that cold here!

Didn’t think I’d make use of a heated steering wheel, but when the temps get down into the 20’s, 30’s and 40’s, it sure is nice. Same with the heated seats.

Hello from Minnesota. When I start it with my remote start in the winter, seats and steering wheel are nice and toasty when I hop in.

This is by far the best feature on the Elite. When the temperature gets down to 30-20 degrees this really warms those cold hands.

Great to know...I was remote starting just to get the engine to warm up before we’d leave in the morning, but then having the heaters turned on came in handy. My nephews don’t like to wear their jackets in their booster seats, so it was a quick dash from the front door to the street!

No freezing temps in the winter is just about the only bonus for living in SoCal...
was standard on my canadian sport, guess they know where it was going,
real nice after cleaning all snow off and hands are freezing

Maybe that is an Elite only option? I noticed tonight, when it was 33F out and I did the remote auto-start, the seat heaters and steering wheel were not on. The seat heaters turned on when I started the Passport, but I had to manually turn on the steering wheel once I started the car. Maybe it needs to be a bit colder?

Or maybe it’s an option that you can turn on? I searched around the various menus but didn’t find any obvious way to turn on these features when auto-starting with the Touring model infotainment settings.

I can’t say for certain on it being an elite feature or not? I never experienced this feature.
It was usually about 35* when we left in the mornings though.
And when we would get home the afternoon before I didn't have all those heaters on either, so it wasn’t left on from the days prior. The nephews exceptionally loved the Butt Warmers, as they called them!
When using the Automatic start my car’s temperature setting is about 20 degrees off.
Yesterday I started my car remotely it was 22 degrees outside when I got in the car and started it, the temperature registered 44 so of course the heated seats and windshield defroster was not working. As I drive up the block the right temp shows 22 degrees.
Honda technology at its best.

I've noticed the same thing! I have only noticed it if the engine is still warm from recently driving it. I haven't used it from a cold start yet, as I keep it in the garage.

Since im in south CA too, mine does automatically come on. It actually also did similar in warmer temps but the ventilation comes on. So im not sure what feature or setting is set in order for these to come on automatically during the remote start. Its definitely welcome for both weather conditions.

Its definitely a good feature to have. Since I dont have to drive too much since Ive been remote working. Sometimes ill just jump in the car for a drive around the block to get out and warm up my hands.

I don’t think I ever remote started when it’s warm. I rarely use it actually, I just did it to warm the engine up and found this feature. You know Honda’s don’t like to drive with a cold engine! 🥶

Where are you at in SoCal?
I’m in HB and Steven our other moderator is in Westminister (I think)? I know he’s just up the road a few miles or so from me. There is another member here that lives in my neighborhood but I’ve only seen him driving when Im walking or riding my bike!

Yeah remote start on a hot day starts up the ac. Unfortunately, it’s like a default setting so I’m not sure what temp triggers it. I like my car cold so I don’t min if it’s blasting the ac. Before, I used to just auto roll my windows down as I approached my car to air out.
I was raised in sd county near the marine base in Miramar. But I currently live in riverside county but stil visit my parents on a frequent basis
