Hi everyone! After shopping these since they dropped last year, I finally landed a used one that fit the exact bill I was looking for. The original owner of this 9,000 mile Elite trim Passport was the General Manager of the dealership where I found it. Last week, I drove 6 hours round trip with my wife to bring it home and have already formed a bond with this machine. A few options were already installed by the dealership and I've got a few more planned. First steps are to have the front clip protected with PPF and call upon my local dealer to install the factory tow package with trans cooler.

Very excited to join this forum! I've already lurked a bit over the last few months while hunting and have answered several questions I had. Appreciate having a space like this to use as a resource for future projects and problems!

You know, I have considered that. Is there someone who already offers them in black? Otherwise, I was going to source new ones from the dealer and have them painted gloss black. Save my originals if I ever wanted to go back to chrome.

Woah! I had no idea this was an option! What model got the black emblems? Or, seeing the "elite" badge I assume it was a certain color?

None that I am aware of. I came across them by accident when looking on eBay for OEM parts. I jotted the numbers and checked with my local dealership and they verified the parts. Surprising!

You’re welcome, glad I could help. I am a little old school. I only put OEM parts on my Honda. I am having my black emblems installed next week but keeping my chrome emblems nearby. Something tells me I will eventually get tired of them and the black wheels. I also ordered the upgraded silver and black wheels and setting them in my garage when that time comes. What I also found surprising is that Honda also offers CD player for the PP if you are interested. My wife said it was a must have...she still buys CDs 🤦🏻‍♂️

Maybe. This past Saturday, I actually saw a complete “black out” PPE on the showroom floor at my dealership and I can actually say it was awesome. It was not a special edition of any sort, it was just a dealer’s choice. I also saw the front large “H” in black. The parts department was closed so I couldnt ask for the item number. I am assuming that would be a lot of labor to replace the large chrome “H” since that is where all the sensors are located. Too sensitive of an area for my taste but I was curious. Good luck!
