Going to another dealer for service 2 weeks after buying Passport

The service department at the dealer I bought the passport is sad. I called 3 times last week. No one answered the phone. The receptionist who forwards calls finally took my number, but no one ever called back.

I live in a small town roughly between two dealers 20 miles away. If I start going to the service department of the dealer I didn't buy the car from will they hold it against me?

Your money is wanted and accepted at any and all dealers. :)
They will welcome you! Service is the bread and butter for dealers. They get to charge Honda full price. Bad part about any make model dealer service? If manufacture says xx hours and minutes to do a job, that’s all they will pay for. I know at fiat/ Jeep dealers it’s book time and done. Mechanic does not care if it’s not right as they get paid book time and not a penny more

What a drag. If I were you, I'd talk to the service manager. From my business consulting days, I know that customer service is usually a "top-down" trait, so I doubt if you'll get anywhere, but it's worth a shot.

Contacting your salesperson and the sales manager couldn't hurt either.

You are lucky, we have one dealer and the nearest other dealer is over 100 miles away.

I'm going to buy a Passport tomorrow from a dealer that is over 100 miles away from my home. I have no intention of taking the car back to this dealership for service. I will use one of the two dealerships within 25 mile radius from my house...and hope for the best. I have no concerns about their level of interest in servicing my car.

Nothin' wrong with that! :)

I bought three Honda's 240 miles away and service local, no issues.
