Welcome! ...I like to change oil and filter at 5000 miles on my cars.....If you do not have it already , be sure to get the Owmer's manual. The book that come with the PP is the Owner's Guide. The Manual is available at no charge if ordered from Honda within 6 mos of purchase. Details are in the Guide. It is also available to download. Some have downloaded it to an SD card in their phone so that it is always with them when traveling. Either way, this really helpful to take the time to read through the Manual. It gives es much more detailed information about your PP as well as lots of tips on almost every page. Have fun on your trip! I went on a 2500 mile trip up the CA coast and to Redwood country when my Touring had only a couple of thousand miles on it. PP proved to be a great traveling vehicle.

My wife just bought a 2020 Passport Exl. I do all my own maintenance on every vehicle that we own and am glad to find this Forum. I really didnt have any time to research the Passport but hey... It's a Honda, what can go wrong
Is there any need to change the oil/filter before the oil life trips the first time ( break period) or any thing that I should keep an eye on ?
We will be taking a 1000 mile trim in about 3 weeks.
