My dealer wanted what I felt was an outrageous amount of money for a hood deflector and cargo cover.
deflector was quoted at 378.95 and the cargo cover for the trunk was 223.85. I also got a lot of its on back order and will take weeks. I ordered both from hondacarparts.com over the weekend and they are on their way was cheaper too. I'll let you know how the experience worked out

I received my hood protector and cargo cover today. Slapped in the cargo cover in probably 5 seconds, seems well built and hopefully will keep people from having an interest in items in the back when out shopping. Like most vehicle accessories, seems kinda crazy over priced but it fits perfect and nobody else makes an alternative. The hood protector I haven't installed just yet, looks super simple, the company I bought it from included instructions. It says to not wash the car for 24-48 hrs after installing so I am holding off on install as we are expecting rain for the next 5 days. I really can't believe the low quality look of this item in the box especially for the high price these things go for. Even more amazed Weathertech doesn't make one of higher quality. Oh well, brand new ride and I don't want rock chips so this appears to be the only solution at the moment. Can't wait to see it installed.

I'll post some picts when I get it on. At this point, totally not impressed with what came in the box. There are several videos on YouTube that show this installed and it will look good but durability and longevity look pretty darn questionable when you see what came in the box.

I kind of like the look of the hood deflector on the Passport.
I had one on my Ridgeline, but it trapped water, ice and salt from our northeastern winters.
This caused rust and deterioration on top and especially under the lip of the hood.
