I went with the cheap Walmart Custom Custom Fit Floor Mats ($29.99). The fronts fit just fine very little trimming, but the backs are lacking in size, but I see that Walmart has a smaller mat that might just fit between the 2 rear mats.

LOL... sorry, but there's nothing custom about this "custom fit". It's better than nothing, no doubt, but it's not custom at all. I love to say a dollar just like the next guy, and that's why I've been researching and avoiding the "buy it now" button on weathertech.com. But let's not lie to ourselves, this is nowhere near custom. Plenty of gaps all over the place for crap to get into, let alone spilled liquid and such.
Exactly, you certainly get what you pay for. Shit is expensive, I'm not down with doing things half assed. I work hard for my $ and buy quality. "Ordinary is done elsewhere". Having those would not work for me. Weathertech was my only choice and has been for many years.

I asked the dealer to leave the clear "dealer's plastic" in one of my new cars, because I didn't want to spend $19 at Walmart. I removed it 9 years later.

I think you guys are missing Walmart's design concept for the rear mats, they left the gap so you can purchase their "Custom Fit" Waste Basket, which fits perfectly in the remaining carpeted area, but does block the rear temperature controls...😎
I miss little to nothing. Just sayin.
