Wanted a Passport, but talked myself into buying a 2020 CRV Hybrid a year ago. I regret that decision. The CRV is a great car, but now I want to trade for the Passport.

I like the features of the Touring, vs the EX-L, but wonder if there will be more wind noise on the Touring because of the roof rack.

Any thoughts?

No noticeable increase in wind noise in my 2019 PP Sport WITH crossbars. If you put a top box, SUP/ kayak or basket on, you're going to get some noise.

Reason I asked is I once had a turbo Saab with roof racks that did increase wind noise.

ALL roof racks will increase wind noise vs a bare roof. That said, I have a Touring with the rails (no crossbars) and its fine, even with sunroof open.

I definitely don't hear mine, with cross bars. I wonder if the acoustic glass helps with that on my elite. Haven't put any toys up there yet, but I can't imagine it won't hum.

I have a 2021 Elite with rails/crossbars. I had it about a month before we installed the crossbars and didn't notice a difference. We just finished up a LONG road trip from Dallas to NYC with a soft sided car topper - now THAT was noticeable! We had it cinched down tightly but would hear significant noise depending on our direction and the wind in the area. Thankfully we left the contents of the topper at our youngest offspring's apartment in NYC so the return trip was very pleasant.

No noise on my Touring. I don't have crossbars.

We have an E-XL (all Canadian models have roof rails) and the OEM crossbars and wind noise is pretty much non-existent.

Our 2011 CRV has cross bars and the wind noise is significant, so we are extremely happy with the PP.
