Maybe somebody here can chime in-

There are different part # s listed for the Sport/EX-L shocks ( 52611-TGS-A02) vs the Touring/Elite (52611-TGS-A11)
Does anybody know the physical differences or have they seen them side by side? Are the Touring/Elite tuned stiffer for handling or to accommodate higher curb weight? OR is the hardware upgraded in some way to accommodate a certain driving style like pavement vs trails?

If any difference, I would suspect they go the other way. Touring/Elite would ride "fluffier".

According to Honda website, Sport/EX-L are 72.2 inch height in AWD. Touring/Elite are 72.2 inch in AWD. From what I can find, all AWD Passports use same replacement springs, as springs would affect unladen height, and standard struts would not affect unladen height. Touring/Elite tires (265/45/20) are 29.4 inch diameter vs Sport/EX-L tires (245/50/20) which are 29.6 inch diameter (so 1/10 inch height difference).
As for the strut, this is what my 2019 Touring AWD came factory equipped with.
So XLR337 & Louuuuu may both be correct.

My thought process was that anecdotal evidence online seems to show that people think the Touring/Elite has a slightly stiffer ride than the Sport/EX-L. Not sure if that’s entirely tires, or if the different shocks impact that too. I suspect the Sport is also significantly (400lbs?) ligther than the Elite so the Elite might require heavier duty shocks to perform the same under heavy load- but that wouldn’t really mean more off-road capability unless they were quite a bit beefier .

Too bad there aren't really any aftermarket suspension parts available, that I know of. Some years ago I replaced the factory shocks on my GMC Yukon with some Edelbrock shocks and it made a very noticeable difference. Less body lean and a smoother ride.

Does anyone make stiffer struts for the 2021 passport elite? Mine feels like it rocks too much from side to side. I'm more interested in street handling versus offroad use.

It's a big tall standing box of sheet metal. It handles pretty darn well for what it is. Perhaps you should have purchased a Mazda CX-9 or better yet a BMW Crossover

There probably is some shop out there who could help you.
Did you look at the Mazda CX-9? Most all reviewing sources rate it as the best handling mainstream midsize crossover.
If you believe in C.R., they now rate Mazda as being more reliable than Toyota. The CX-9 also has almost an inch more ground clearance than the Passport not to mention the higher quality interior. I passed on the CX-9 before I bought my Passports because it is a 3 row and it is just the two of us. Along with checking out the RDX, I'll be giving the CX-9 another look.

There are lowering springs available for the Passport. They Should dramatically help handling. If I buy a PP, I will get these springs immediately.
