Mine is very quiet too, probably the quietest vehicle I’ve ever had or drove. Aside from the UPMH of my big V6!

There have been a few times I got out without pushing the engine off button, (I also had a key in my 2006 CRV).

When I drive a 4 cylinder vehicle I feel like I’m driving a weed whacker!

I have noticed the engine noise is noticeably loud when you accelerate. Anyone else ?
Hello Willy and welcome to the Forum, sorry your first post had to be about a problem you are having! I have not had any problems (knock on wood), but hopefully you'll get this resolved...!

I watched several video reviews of the Passport on YouTube before I bought mine. In almost every video, the reviewer would put the pedal to the metal and grin when the engine roared. I’ve tried it in my Passport and it made me grin too.

Hi Willy,

Welcome to the forum! What are you comparing the noise to, a 4 cylinder? If find 4 cylinders to be quite loud at most speeds. The Passport’s engine is pretty quiet overall, and at high acceleration has a sporty groan to it, Before my purchase, I test drove several SUVs, both 4 cylinder turbos and 6 cylinders. The Passport was the most pleasant sounding of the bunch, and checked all of my boxes.

Best of luck with your new ride!
