Bought a new 2021 Passport last June. Had our first oil change while we were in Florida in April. The garage brought me out while they had it on the lift to show me that this cover under the engine compartment wasnt there and didnt want me to think they took it off and didnt put it back. They said it should have one. Back in NY now and the dealer we purchased from says the Passports dont come equipped with this cover. Can anyone tell me if this is true? I was trying to get them to put one on saying it should have been there when i purchased. Thank you.

The Passport has both a front splash shield (74111-TZ5-A01) that's bolted underneath the radiator and a rear engine cover with part number: 74114-TZ5-A00 which I highlighted in the attached picture. Honda's describes 74114-TZ5-A00 as a "Rear Engine Lower Cover" but it's actually located after the transmission/transfer assembly and just before the catalytic converter.
Because both the splash shield and the engine cover are located underbody and might not directly affect operating the vehicle, it's reasonable for a vehicle owner to be unaware either or both items are missing.
I don't know which one you are missing but the dealer should replace either if your car arrived without it, however, if you purchased your Passport from a private seller or if you have have been doing your servicing at a non Honda garage it might be difficult to make the dealer accept that any of these items were not removed by those other people.

I understand your initial contribution but I was trying to help the OP determine what could be missing.
Honda describes one of those items as a "Rear Engine Lower Cover" and the Splash Shield is also located under the front end of the vehicle, so if @Beaver18 was told his Passport is missing a "cover under the engine compartment" as he stated, the possibly non Honda garage might be using a general description to refer to either one as the missing item.
