Inquiring minds want to know where the emergency tow hooks or tow points are on the Passport?

• There is an obvious front tow hook to the inside of the Front-Left wheel (photo 1).
• There is no tow hook or tow point for the rear (photo 2)?

There are central jack points in the front and rear.

• Rear center jack point is the black metal tab at the bottom of the rear frame member in photo 2.
• Front center jack point is the black metal tab below the white label at the bottom of the front frame member in photo 3.

Keep in mind the factory provided tow hooks are tie down points for transportation of the vehicle which are useable for tow trucks as well. They are not suited for the run and snap that is popular with much of the off-road community. So if relying on these have anyone connecting up to you do a gentle pull not a roll and snap.

Ultimately this applies to the random person that's getting you unstuck and doesn't care what they damage bec its not their vehicle. 90 % of the people in the group with you are responsible/respectful of your vehicle and do their very best to NOT damage anything. Again, random people be very cautious, but when you solo and stuck, beggars can't be choosers. 😉
