Seeing that kick sensor now makes someone's post here recently improves my understanding on the kick-action.

No wonder why my kicks worked almost 90% of the time before the hitch was installed. Now I need to figure out where to kick lol.

The shorter kick sensor is only as long as the boxed area below for reference.

This previous post has pics that may help inquiries regarding the difference between the sensors lengths, location, and sensor bracket that fits behind the valance.

Hands Free Tailgate ...with Hitch

I know I am going to be adding Hitch/Harness in the spring myself. I just wonder if it is worth the effort/cost to add Hands Free Tailgate since I am going to be "in the area". Anyone done this ? Is it worth it ? I have EXL trim.
