...With a nice black matte finish. All that couldn't be done is the area around all the buttons on the steering wheel. So pleased with the look and no more finger prints. I wouldn’t doubt that I‘ll be changing the exterior gloss in the near future!

Thanks again StevenD for another referral. These guys are top notch and so cool.

Hey that looks great Heather. I was thinking of a carbon fibre wrap for mine sometime in the future.

I highly suggest it! Honestly, not sure how long I will be able to take the glossy on the exterior. Got my 8k service tomorrow and I didn’t want the guys to worry about hitting the wrap to hard. It takes a couple days and warmth to reach its curing stage. And the next few days it will be a whole 75* ish!

Now that's an upgrade that I like (can it be wrapped with a camo type film - just joshing)?
Now the uncouth part, what does a job like that cost?
I didn‘t look for a camo, but I wouldn’t doubt it. The swatch book for 3M and Avery which they use was about 3” think with samples. And 3M has this on the cover page of Their website.

Cost will vary on the wrap you chose and how much you want done and where you have it done, they hand cut the pieces, they aren‘t printed on a plotter pre cut like the exterior.

Mine would have run $665, but hey gave me Stevens friend 30% discount!

Super Mod Steve - do you have any friends in LA (that's Lower Alabama)? This cheap Charlie sure HOPE that's Cali prices (Bama oftens runs cheaper, w/ mini. wage at $7.25?). My trip out your way last Oct. saw me paying two X+ for gasoline ($2.19 vs $4.59); breakfast easily ran $24 (for two) vs our $14 - with grits included; before the expected 20% tip.

Regardless I like the mod and may do the same thing (provided I can find someone who's capable); I primarily wish to eliminate the reflective gloss.

My face pic - plus a listing of scars and tatooes - can be found in most state-side post-offices, hence my reluctance to leave fingerprints behind.

Sorry, Wrascal, but if you can do a road trip here in early spring I can hook you up...

Despite my being a home body (I hate travelling) I'm somewhat committed to every-other year visiting my SoCal. family (obviously they don't know that the roads / airways run both ways).

During the alternate years (next spring) I've been coerced to head on up to New England. This spring my in-laws exceed a 70th anniversary - which also coincides with my brides high school get together.

Much worse than all that is come next Xmas (this hen-pecked hubbys) options are a caribbean island visit OR a trip to snow country.
Be alert for any suicidal thoughts.

Looks great H, rather than piggy back in your thread, I created my own Carbon Fiber one...

Cheers!

That's looks really great Heather. One of my BIGGEST design frustrations that manufacturers do is put glossy or chrome features inside of a vehicle. I "matted" out everything inside of my Tundra, and will do the same when I pick up my Passport. The gloss/chrome are blinding to those of us who do a ton of driving. I even go for the matte hood decal for reduced sun glare. It helps. I like how well your Passport turned out.
